Anstar offers trained technicians serving machine tools and customer service that will enhance our total commitment to customer satisfaction.

2024 Service Rate Price Sheet

Regular hourly rate for (1) one service technician on site.....$ 187.50 / hr

Note: $1,500.00 for an 8 hour day - generally starting at 8:00am until 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break and two (2) 15 minute breaks, one at 10:30am and one at 2:30pm.

Over time hourly rate (> 8 hr day).................$ 247.50 / hr

Saturday hourly rate (flat rate).......................$ 247.50 / hr

Sunday & Holiday hourly rate (flat rate)........$ 375.50 / hr

Travel time and report writing (flat rate)......$ 110.00 / hr

Anstar Preventive Maintenance (PM)

Why Preventive Maintenance?

Virtually all machine tools demand additional attention to detail and fine adjusting to ensure long life and proper opration. Preventive maintenance ensures that your machine tool platforms to specifications operating at its design speed, producing at its design rate, and resulting in a quality product at these speeds and rates.

Preventive Maintenance also reduced costly equipment downtime. One survey showed that the actual cost for a machine breakdown averaged 4 times the maintenance cost; in some companies it was as much as 15 times. With a PM program in place, you can expect to reduce your machine downtime, increase machine and worker productivity, extend the life or your machine tool investment, and lower your total cost of maintenance.

How does Anstar's PM Program work?

Preventive machine maintenance requires more that just checking, filling or changing the vital fluids. Anstar's PM programs are comprehensive, including the inspection of every major and minor component both individually and in conjunction with other operating components.

After Anstar's thorough diagnostic evaluation, we develop and maintain a comprehensive PM Program for maximum operational longevity and continued precise performance. This program includes a customized Maintenance Log for your machine, listing in detail frequency of oil(s) checking and refilling. This log, which will be maintained by the machine operator or in-house maintenance personnel, will also include any problems or alarms encountered on your machine.

Anstar then develops a frequency schedule for other preventive maintenance items and notifies your company at least one week before scheduling an Anstar service engineer to perform these tasks.
